2019 National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop

Hello friends!

Welcome to the 2019 National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop!

This hop we are featuring GORGEOUS new collection - "The World Is Yours" - that was designed for National Scrapbooking Month!  There are multiple pieces to this collection - so feel free to mix and match to your heart's content.  The paper pack contains 16 patterned paper sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs and 2 each of 2 single-sided designs on vellum and kraft paper, and 1 coordinating sticker sheet; 12" × 12".  It's truly packed with many textures and patterns.

The featured colors in this collection are: Espresso, Mink, Mint, New England Ivy, Peach, Sage, Toffee, and White Daisy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  I hope my creations will inspire you to use up your paper pack (remember, don't hoard it! LOL).  Instead of layouts, I focused on creating cards!

You should have arrived here from Brenda Lapp's blog. If you are just starting here or get lost along the way, you can start at the beginning over at Melissa Robinson's Blog.

I used a couple of different stamp sets to create my cards - I will list all the supplies at the end of the post in case you want to see more.

Who doesn't love a cute shaker card?

This card features the new stamp set called Special Day Duo. I layered the printed vellum paper on top of the patterned paper background.

Perfect card for someone heading out for a year abroad or graduation!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #313

Hello crafty friends!

It's time for another inspiring sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  Sketches are a great way to get going when your creative mojo may be missing.

Here it is:

The sketch was created by Michelle Stewart and digitized by Brandi Robinson

Here is what I created:

Once again, I used the April Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart along with the "Feels Like Home" Paperpack. I just LOVE this combo!  I did a little two toned stamping by inking up my image in Sugarplum, then rolling the edges into the Mink ink.  I love the effect it added!!!

You won't be able to get this stamp set after the end of the month, so be sure to grab it soon!

You can find all the supplies on my website.

I hope you will come and play along with us!

See you next time!

Jess

This month we are showcasing the beautiful and versatile “Feels Like Home” paper pack! It’s the last month you can pick up this beauty - so be sure to grab it while you can!  I created 4 fun projects to share with you - so let's get started!

PROJECT 1 - Handmade Card

I used the Feels Like Home- Cardmaking stamp set to create this card!  The wreath was handcut and a few sequins applied with Liquid Glass.

PROJECT 2 - Handmade Card

For this card, I used elements from the "cut-apart" patterned paper sheet  and kept the sentiment simple.

PROJECT 3 - Handmade Card

This was a very clean one layer card. I used the various stitching stamps on the Quilted With Love Stamp set to create a beautiful one layer card.  Sometimes you just want a simple card without too many distractions!

PROJECT 4 - Treat Bag

For my last project, I created a super cute treat holder - and it was super simple!  I cut a piece of the patterned paper at 4x12 inches, scoring at the 5.5' and 6.5" marks, then folded up to create a "pocket.  I slipped some Girl Guide Cookies (they are everywhere right now haha) into a clear plastic cover and used the Mini Stapler to adhere them to the back of the sleeve.  I punched two holes in the top of the sleeve and then tied it all up with a piece of ribbon from the Uptown Ribbon Pack (hurry, you can still grab these on clearance AND you get 9 yards of trims for only $5.50!!).  The stamps & die set that I used on this was in clearance, but I see has sold out - but it was called Central Park.

As you can see, this paper pack is just gorgeous and oh so versatile!

The next stop on the hop is the ever talented Valerie and you can find her blog HERE.  If you get lost along the way, you can always start back at Michelle's Blog.

Thanks for stopping by! If you love any of the products I've used and would like to get them yourself, you, please contact your local CTMH Consultant OR (if you don't have a consultant) you an shop my website HERE.

See you again next month on the 10th - it will be NEW Seasonal Expressions 2 releases and you won't want to miss it! :D
